Company S, a precision parts manufacturing manufacturer, had installed one large dust collector and 30 to 40 small dust collectors in a factory with many cutting and polishing processes. However, when products had oil on them, dust and oil would adhere to the inside of the ducts and hoods, and sparks from the polishing would ignite the dust collectors. Additionally, since cyclones can separate even light dust, light debris that catches fire would not reach the bag filter. Therefore, a pre-cyclone was delivered.
